What Is Parent Coaching?
A collaborative relationship built on your inner wisdom and strength.
Parent coaching is a supportive, forward-focused relationship that helps parents navigate challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose. It's strength-based, built on the belief that you already carry the wisdom and resilience your family needs. My role is to help you access it.
"Parent coaching can help you shift your perspective, uncover your inner knowing, and find a place of peace and empowerment in your parenting."
— PatriciaEvery conversation is confidential, safe, and accepting, grounded in deep listening. You bring the expertise on your family; I bring the space, empathy, and questions to gently explore alternative perspectives.
Please note: Parent coaching is not therapy, and I am not a licensed therapist or able to diagnose. If you or your child need additional specialists or deeper therapeutic support, I'm happy to help connect you with the right resources.
How Coaching Can Support You
Real shifts, built from the inside out.
Using the ICF's Core Competencies and Code of Ethics, I support parents through interactive phone or Zoom sessions personalized to your family.
Together, we will work to:
- Build confidence and learn to trust yourself in your parenting decisions
- Explore the impact of parenting styles, patterns, and family dynamics
- Move from reacting to responding
- Develop stronger, more effective communication
- Identify supportive boundaries, tools, and self-care
- Strengthen your connection with your teen or young adult
- Gain clarity on your role as a parent
- Turn insight into action by bridging the gap between understanding and doing
