My Story

Nothing in my education or life experience could have prepared me for what lay ahead.

Hi, I'm Patricia. I have a BA in Psychology and a Master's in Teaching. I was teaching middle and high school science when I had my children and decided to stay home to raise them rather than continue my career.

Nothing in my education or life experience could have prepared me for the challenges that lay ahead in parenting my children through their teen and young adult years. Parenting in the age of smartphones and COVID brought new and intense struggles. I found myself navigating my child's mental health and addiction challenges — spending countless hours in children's ERs, searching through different treatment programs, and often feeling the deep isolation that comes from walking an unfamiliar and overwhelming path.

"When I began focusing on my own healing and growth, everything started to shift. I found more clarity, strength, and peace."

Through this journey, I was pushed to grow in ways I never expected. I began discovering my true self, building integrity, strengthening my confidence, and learning to trust myself. I immersed myself in learning everything I could about mental health and addiction so I could better support my child.

But one of the most important lessons I learned was that I also needed to take care of myself.

When I began focusing on my own healing and growth, everything started to shift. I found more clarity, strength, and peace, and I realized that parents deserve support on this journey too. That realization led me to create Peaceful Heart Coaching. My purpose is to walk alongside parents who are facing similar challenges and help them find their own sense of peace, strength, and direction.

As both a parent and a parent coach, I have seen that when parents grow in clarity, confidence, and purpose, the entire family begins to shift. Our presence and energy shape the tone of our homes. When we find peace within ourselves, we begin to create more peace within our families.

What I Believe

Every parent I work with is already doing their best. They need someone who meets them with genuine curiosity and truly sees them. These are the values that guide every conversation I have.

Compassion and curiosity

There is no shame in struggling. I meet every parent exactly where they are, with open curiosity and no expectation.

Your wisdom is already there

I don't hand you answers. I help you find the clarity that's already inside you — often buried under fear and exhaustion.

Parents need support too

The focus is always on your child, but you cannot pour from an empty cup. Taking care of yourself is essential.

Small steps create lasting change

We don't need to fix everything at once. Steady, intentional movement forward is how real transformation happens.
